I can see the sun
I've saw angels fall from wuthering heights
And set their sights
On being corrupted
Like the volcano lying dormant
Suddenly erupted
I've saw the wild beast forced to a cage
Poked and prodded
Introduced to rage
I've saw shelter denied to the homeless man
Humanity falling short
Not helping when it can
But through it all I see a light
Some souls that still shine so bright
I still hear the laughter and feel the fun
And even in the darkness
I can see the sun
And set their sights
On being corrupted
Like the volcano lying dormant
Suddenly erupted
I've saw the wild beast forced to a cage
Poked and prodded
Introduced to rage
I've saw shelter denied to the homeless man
Humanity falling short
Not helping when it can
But through it all I see a light
Some souls that still shine so bright
I still hear the laughter and feel the fun
And even in the darkness
I can see the sun
