Image for the poem Shamrock Star

Shamrock Star

Shamrock laments advancing age
All those brutal years
Her time may have been cruel, but it doesn't show
More experience than damage
More beauty marks than scars

Shamrock gets the best of them
All the deviants next door
Lairs of ignominy and shame
Where she gets out the vacuum now and then

Father Figure has her celebrate
Her resilience and strength
He notices his own hour grows late
But she still goes to any length....

Happy birthday Shamrock!
