Afterlife ~ Remembering You

dancing freely in the sensual falling rain
with a luving smile upon our faces
souls soaking up every raindrop kiss
as the two of us romantically swayed

fell into a shallow grave terrified
not knowing it was meant to be mine
feeling empty......cold.....lost in life
last sound was hearing you weeping

barely felt my heart pounding
gasping for every breath
my body sank deeper in the earth
as the softened ground buried me alive

time raced by and days disappeared
looking down upon your smile
holding and kissing another
almost seeming familiar to me

beautiful Angel sitting next to me asked....
"do you remember him?"
"not sure"....was my instant reply
"he was your luv before you died"

with an Angelic touch emotions came back
remembering the most perfect luv
that was ever created with a heavenly sigh
you and her so sacredly in luv as we were

watched you dance from my rain filled eyes
with a luving smile upon your faces
souls soaking up every teardrop memories
with the two of you gracefully swaying together.....

then the heavens flashed purple
sitting next to me a handsome heavenly Angel
saw people crying and hugging her so tenderly
I asked you...."do you remember us?"
