Transformation
He whispered quietly
"Now breath slowly"
The pain replaces
The steady flow
What once was
Crimson now flows
Thin strands of
Shimmering, ink black
Fast at first
And then suddenly
So very slow
My breath escapes
And fades away
Soon I smell
The thick scent
Of lavender honey
I'm so allergic
I ponder amongst
The mist rolling
Round and round
Caressing my body
As I lay
Where I had
Fallen so quickly
The mist surrounds
It changes me
My skin turns
White, my hair raven
Fangs grow forth
From my two
Broken, bloody canines
He broke them
So that they
Could easily be
Replaced as I
Could be replaced
I was nothing
Breath no longer
Needed to survive
I was dead
Yet so alive
"Relax, dear child"
He held me
Close as I
Lost the last
Of my humanity
"Now breath slowly"
The pain replaces
The steady flow
What once was
Crimson now flows
Thin strands of
Shimmering, ink black
Fast at first
And then suddenly
So very slow
My breath escapes
And fades away
Soon I smell
The thick scent
Of lavender honey
I'm so allergic
I ponder amongst
The mist rolling
Round and round
Caressing my body
As I lay
Where I had
Fallen so quickly
The mist surrounds
It changes me
My skin turns
White, my hair raven
Fangs grow forth
From my two
Broken, bloody canines
He broke them
So that they
Could easily be
Replaced as I
Could be replaced
I was nothing
Breath no longer
Needed to survive
I was dead
Yet so alive
"Relax, dear child"
He held me
Close as I
Lost the last
Of my humanity
