Rhyme

"Rhyme"

My love for you will never die,
because it's froze in time,
writing down all these words,
I try to make them rhyme,

for all the things I didn't do,
I know it was a crime,
but if you find it in your heart,
I promise to unwind,

within my heart resides your life,
the tears rushing down,
I'm not sure what to say,
my emotions of a clown,

the scars that can not be seen,
struggling to get through,
to have you here in my mind,
the pain through and through,

sitting here wondering, exactly what to do,
I can't sleep anymore,
you make me stay awake,
even when I close my eyes,

the burning for pete sake,
just to know that I love you,
but you don't have the time,
I hope this poem gets to you,
