VITRUVIAN
The stale of cigarette
In the phlegm hacked glass
Stale as regret
Stiff as dry spit motel carpet
Stiff as the dead
As dense as the old sweat
Hugging the pillow
Yet free as mosquito buzz
Free of the torn net
At window at sunset
On the bed stretched vitruvian
The portions of a man
Stretched
His sorrow joy in equal measure
Stretched
This genuflection a benediction
That life should be lived
In every direction
At once

You did a great (somewhat disgusting) description of what we use to call 'smokers' oysters,' when I was a kid. Your poem would make a good read for an ant-smoking campaign.
