I walked in the rain today,
I felt it falling on my neck
and on my ear, the image
fell within me in peaceful accord.

It hardly rains here. I don't know how this is a tropical environment. I cannot recall the last time it rained buckets, all day and night. Years, at least.
For about three days now my system has been dolorously raped by the pollen; it was awful, and so this day has been welcome. The rain today has been slow and steady here in Missouri. It is so green and pretty.

We typically experience Spring storms nightly (or at least most of the week)
here during this time. I love them. The smell of rain intoxicates me.
