Eternal Eviction
I figured I could sit and talk to you both
Without any restraint or fears
No belittling stares or judgmental words
Just kind and consoling ears
So, hey pretty ladies
How's life up there?
Is paradise like they say it is?
Probably much better than down here
You know, I really need you both
I need you both right now
I feel the pain of your absence with every breath
And as every tear hits the ground
The 2 worst months of my existence
September and October are hell
But even as hard as it is down here
I really hope for you its been well
You're so far away, for that I hurt
But I understand why you're gone
He decided you were too good for this miserable world
And so he took you on home
I envy that he stole you both
And am angry within my happiness
I just wish ultimate joy
Wasn't at the price of mournful death
But know that controlling my life calms me
One day, I'll see you, and soon
Though I've done my own dirt, I hope once I go
He greets me with the pearly gates too
Without any restraint or fears
No belittling stares or judgmental words
Just kind and consoling ears
So, hey pretty ladies

Is paradise like they say it is?
