On a northern island alone in the rough
days get longer and the weather wetter
seeing winter dueling with sun is enough
to keep me waiting for something better
but then today you arrived on the breeze
your soft dee deeee so sweet to my ear
Lóa i whispered you cute summers tease
praised be your name now spring is here

Sounds like the voice of a Chick-a-dee. Growing up in a family of bird-watchers I can't help but inquire, what sort of bird are you referring to, and where do you both reside?

Thank you very much Snugglebuck, It's a Golden Plover the harbinger of spring in
my native country of Iceland. We have many birds we adore but one we love most.
