My Ouroboros Apocrypha

My *ouroboros apocrypha is an
evolved and enlightened writing to a certain degree,
coupled with my views from the positive to pejorative,
the obscure, arcane even occult subjects as well as objects.
This apocryphal, optimistic in a sense is about some writings
which are kept secret because they are the conduits
of a clandestine knowledge considered, by some elitists,
too profound or too sacred to be disclosed to anyone
other than the religiously ordained or divinely initiated.

For shame… we are not ready, we walk, yet we sleep…

We, seldom want to read, research
or question the version of the so called truth,
ever more complacent,
we ingest genetically altered foods
with little or no protests;
vehemently seek and create
medicines that don't cure, they just,
an ailing body, sustain.
Where is the profit in the cure,
when through illness, billions are made?
Everyday a new vice hits the streets,
what better way is there to control
a wild beast but to keep it sedate?
We allow our violators
to rewrite their enacted scenes
to make themselves the victims by all means,
we permit our enslavers to dictate
our bloody, violent history,
rerecording it in this era
to make them seem,
like a gentle bygone time
of magnolia blossomed dreams.
We allow them to bludgeon us
with their whitewashed religions
as prescribed by the almighty God,
and anything other is deemed
demonic, heathenistic and unclean.

Such is our shame…

The media tells a story with a one sided view,
and it is deemed a fact even
if it is prejudicially askewed.
We have generations growing up
not knowing the pure truth,
because it is much easier to believe
and accept a lie than to assimilate
the unadulterated truth.
Politically correct terms, sanitized and sensitized,
all be it for the erroneous acceptance
of offensive and flat out incomprehensible acts
of outrageously heinous occurrences.
Glossed over events made more palatable
to the general public because
the undiluted truth is too horrific
in its raw state too be acceptable.

They know we are lazy and complacent,
an ignominy…

Our world, ruled by canonic laws,
pseudepigraphal in their nature
are said to have direct quotes and/or
to have been written by someone
who could not possibly have done so,
fact says he did not know how to write,
nor can the quotes be factual
since the scribes of said works
were born centuries after the fact;
A book that has been edited by so many authors
and scribed into so many versions
is said to be the only truth there is…

Really???...

This is falsely attributed work, texts whose claimed author
is not the true author, or a work whose real author
attributed it to a figure of the past,
is a false ascription yet a widely accepted
but incorrect attribution of authorship.
A completely “authentic” text
such as this is pseudepigraphical.

So now, allow me to introduce you to
a truly authentic, and verified ancient term: Ouroboros,
to many ancient peoples this symbol is known
and although the meaning differs slightly
it applies to all things in creation.
It is a circular symbol depicting a snake,
or less commonly a dragon, swallowing its tail,
it as an emblem of wholeness or infinity.

The ouroboros often symbolizes self-reflexivity;
something we so desperately need in this day and age
or cyclicality, the eternal circle of life so to speak,
especially in the sense of something constantly
re-creating itself, the eternal return.
It mirrors the phoenix which burns brightly to ash
then begins anew as soon as it ends.
Also represent in the idea of primordial unity
related to something existing in or persisting
from the beginning with such force or qualities
it cannot be extinguished.

The “human spirit/will”…

From ancient Egypt and India,
ouroboros was/is an important
religious and mythological symbol,
frequently used in alchemical designs,
also associated with Gnosticism,
Hermeticism and Hinduism.

“Carl Jung interpreted the ouroboros as having
an archetypal significance to the human psyche.
The Jungian psychologist Erich Neumann writes
of it as a representation of the pre-ego "dawn state",
depicting the undifferentiated infancy experience
of both mankind and the individual child.”

Once upon a time the black man
courageously hid away to educate himself,
gorging on the written word
knowing the power it contained.
Once upon a time the red and brown man
defiantly scribed their histories in stone
because they knew, they just KNEW
that in stone it could never be changed.
Once upon a time the native peoples of the world
knew that to preserve the oral histories
through the generations was an
unequivocal necessity,
yet now, we the descendants
shun it shamefully, as ignorance
of the illiterate and avoid it
like the plague disgracefully.
Once upon a time we knew
the power of ancestry, progeny and family,
that although we live in a modern world,
we must learn first and foremost the old ways
respecting, venerating
our elders and ancestors
for the verbal lore full
of wisdom, that to us, they gave.
We KNEW that no matter how far
into the future we walked,
we could not, there, succeed
if we did not first learn
from the mistakes of the past
and thus avoid the doom of a repeat.
Once upon a time we
were not fools, just naive,
we just did not know…
now, we just don't want to
know, see or believe.

“We must look back and relearn
what has been forgotten by time or design
lest we allow others to continue
to keep us illiterate and blind”

*Apocrypha (hidden writings), [*from the Greek, apokruptein to hide away] Apocrypha means 'hidden
things' in Greek.
*Pseudepigraphica: The term pseudepigrapha comes from the Greek pseudo, meaning “false,” and epigraphein, meaning “to inscribe,” thus, “to write falsely.”

*Ouroboros symbol means unending or interminable.
