Under the stars
I'm infatuated with you
And I had the guts to tell you,
I love how shy you can be
But first impressions can deceive.
I loved the affection,
And I loved the attention,
But that's how it always is
When for the first time you kiss.
Something got stirred up in my head
When you told me what I already knew,
I just thought you'd express the way I do,
And let me be the exception to your rules.
Guess that'd mean you'd have to change,
And that's not what I want,
I just wanted your constant affection,
Cuz you have all of my attention.

Doesn't sound like it was all 'two way traffic' here at all. Love is so hard to keep, let alone grow.
