...you strive to express here have any real meaning to you, then it would be appropriate for you to edit out the kiddie errors at L's 8, 10 (yore) & 16.
And I wouldn't bother with the inverted commas at 8 & 16 - after all it's a poem isn't it, so you're allowed to cast your net beyond a sea of prose.
But those little piece of shit apostrophes you missed do make a difference if you want to be taken seriously.
Personally, I try and avoid the word 'like' in a poem - it's the same as exposing a clockwork cog that makes the meaning tick along.
You are improving, so keep writing.

yes, iv'e been doing some studing on poems since i posted this and I came to the same conclusion about the word "like" and the use of " quotation marks"  I'm old 33 years removed from school, I see where i missed the lil shit apostrophes, now.

I know the hard and soft syllable breaks are off in this poem thats something i'll have to work on in future poems.

Whatever feels right for you will be the best for this poem. Reading aloud is always key - so if it sounds right in your head, then it generally will be.
Watch out for 'your' and 'you're' in that revision, btw.
