Untitled Mystery... A Collaboration Poem.

What lies ahead a mystery,
my only crime… being me.
A prisioner of this lonely fight...
losing hope, losing sight.
Walls are slowly moving in...
revealing tales of where I’ve been.
In search of what I onced called my own,
in this makeshift world, I call home.

Home, sweet home...
That's what I thought laying in his arms.
The same arms that beat me down,
causing emotional harm.
These walls, closing in...
Running around searching for love in all the wrong men.
If these closing walls could talk,
I find myself lonely...
That same place I called home,
Has officially abandoned me.

He left me in the dark,
with nothing but why's...
Crying to the world,
but can't simplify...
This feelings of love has broken in two.
Reality seems twisted,
Because of you.

Now I stand in this world unknown.
Unknown to life, love, a happy home.
I'm left with the emotional baggage of you.
Carrying it around like a king...
To a crown,
Like a sword..
To the  heart.
I'm split in two,
This place called home...
I never knew.

No longer that place to lay my battered head.
No more promises of a warm soft bed.
No more you to stand by my side,
guilt prevails, invading this mind.
Embracing lonely memories
of misunderstandings, of rejection.
The only thing left to hold
are dreams that linger within this soul.
What lies ahead a mystery...

No turning back now cause the past is dead.
So I walk alone...
In hopes of finding a new home.
In hopes of no more wondering the why.
No more blanketing, suffocating from the lies.
Only to hope that you'll love me... yet again,
Truly, but unconditionally.
This is our Untitled Mystery.
