Post on Religion

I don't like that religion is more than just a silly superstition for most. It's dangerous is what it is, and I'll mock them forever.  Richard Feynman said that Man invented religion to explain mystery, and he is precisely right as usual. Religious dogma and all that grand and arrogant thinking that goes along with it has been the source of oppression and outright murder for thousands of years, and we know far too much about our world and the cosmos at large to let it continue. There are better ways other than religion to instill an individual moral character.  And it doesn't come from a lack of intelligence. It comes from a lack of one not knowing their inner nature, their inner-most convictions, and a lack of the open education about it. It’s true that physics will not teach you how to treat your neighbor no matter the directives and variables learned.  It is in the whole list sciences that we learn who we are, or, it could be there in your heart all along.   That's exactly what I said to him Bony, thank you for listening.  If you'll excuse me now, I have to get back to looking at puppies and things like that.
