Abysmal Lullaby

Drifting aeons in breathless winter
upon the mourning midnight glade,
herein I lie in undying sleep
entwined in primal shades.
Unfurling in velvet-winged embrace,
humming with subtle nocturnes,
lulling my dreams tenderly across
the icy winds of despair.
"Misanthropic beauty,
caress thy solemness unto me.
Drown thy sorrow into mine,
immersed in bittersweet mystery.
Invoke within me feral hunger,
woven beneath flesh and bone.
Release this chasm of emptiness
bore into submissive soul..."
Eyes become as blood red moons,
emblazoned by scarlet starlight,
bleeding carnal storms unearthed,
gaze met by obscure desire.
Burning feverish with grandeur,
vermilion streams of radiant splendor,
dripping rivers of blasphemy
deep within these broken veins.
Vast are the thorns,
longing sighs of timeless abyss,
forever captured in the divinity
of an amaranthine night...
