Should I read him Poe? I am not a reader... It must grab me and keep me immediately otherwise it gets put down... Will he survive?

I don't know if you would like him. I wa introduced to him with the novel "Post Office" I think his story as a writer is fascinating. How he came to the craft. He's written tons of books and a lot of poetry but def an aquired taste.
