never left behind
Moonlight moonlight that shines oh so bright
tell me why do these black eye shadow tears stain my cheeks tonight?
Tell me why do my scars glow white in you're bright florescent light?
Why does the black I drape myself in shine to let me be seen?
Why is my hair glowing so bright it nearly blinds me?
Why do my sobs echo off the trees and surround me?
And Why? after all this time do I feel like I might just maybe I might survive this fight
to live yet another moonlit night another bloody fight
with my friend never to be left behind.
