A bad lullaby
I look at my past
I can read it like a book
I see the pain
I see the gain
I see the loss
I toss aside the old memories
I walk a free soul
I fight to fulfill this goal even tho
I cry
I scream
It feels like a dream
One that I hope i dont awake
A long time will it partake
In the healing the becoming whole once more
But this pain I will endure
Till the time comes
But this pain I will endure
Till the time comes
once more
That I can breath
a low sigh
And no longer feel
like this was
just the result of a bad lullaby
I can read it like a book
I see the pain
I see the gain
I see the loss
I toss aside the old memories
I walk a free soul
I fight to fulfill this goal even tho
I cry
I scream
It feels like a dream
One that I hope i dont awake
A long time will it partake
In the healing the becoming whole once more
But this pain I will endure
Till the time comes
But this pain I will endure
Till the time comes
once more
That I can breath
a low sigh
And no longer feel
like this was
just the result of a bad lullaby
