Lowered Lashes (Deference)
When she looks at me
and then lowers her eyes,
It is not from fear but a matter of pride
She nods in approval as she looks me over
Her smile says I'm worthy
and good enough to know her,
to stand strong before her
or walk tall beside her;
Plus smart enough to follow,
and if needed,
guide her.
I'm pleased by her choosing
I'm honored to have her
I count myself blessed every time I look at her
Her eyes are lovely
Quite warm and inviting
Her touch is smooth,
sticky, sweet, and enticing
Her skin glows softly
like glazed caramel icing
She draws me to her like tall trees do lightning
Her full lips are lovely
They beg that I kiss them
I love how they kiss me
Oh God, how I've missed them
She welcomes me to her
with all of her being
She never refuses. Quite often she seeks me.
She yields to me gracefully,
always retains her poise
Her dignity unharmed,
she serves me with joy
at being a woman
with me as her man.
She revels in womanhood.
I keep up if I can.
She knows her place.
Wherever she wants to be.
I am so grateful.
This lady chose me.
