Set upon the path, black days of wrath
Damnation just over the horizon
Breathing in the plague, bitter and vague
Salvation seems so empty and frozen
I
Deny the faith
Which has branded me
I
Embrace the fate
Which has nurtured me
Walk this jagged road, so stark and cold
Lined with crucified pathetic martyrs
Running red with blood, uncaring gods
When those grim ravens gather for murder
I
Accompany
Those grieving widows
I
Will plant thy seeds
Of vengeance gallows
Arrive at the gates of heaven
With all of the violence of Vesuvius
Redemption traded for venom
Eyes burn red with fires of Vesuvius
I
Crave reckoning
Crimes against our kind
I
Plant demon seed
Inside hearts of thine
Summits of the dead, storm clouds of dread
Plunging stars into infinite chaos
Bodies heaped in piles, from Styx to Nile
Murderous sorcery without pathos
I
Travel this road
Torn asunder, cruel
I
Weather the cold
The teaches of Thule
Arrive at the gates of heaven
With all of the violence of Vesuvius
Redemption traded for venom
Eyes burn red with fires of Vesuvius
Burning ember remains
Of a faith severed from hearts
Vessels hanging flaccid
When God is torn apart
I
