Wacky Wednesday

Hey everyone!

It's wacky Wednesday!

(KAZOO)

Where the criminals
present their deeds
And victims giving testimonials
at 8 PM on NBC!

(KAZOO)

Watch the beginning disclaimer
And take in the show logo
Coming at you on the screen - all the faster
And a fraudster hides his funds in Tobago.

(KAZOO)

Hey everyone!

It's Wacky Wednesday!
(KAZOO)
You know what that means?

(This program is about Unsolved Mysteries....)

Seemingly ordinary people
turned into hardened criminals
UM is on, displaying all the evils
And updates, arrests and busts!

It's Wacky Wednesday!

(KAZOO)

Everyone is on TV
Getting into mischief
And going to and escaping from jail
(KAZOO)
And in the courtroom you see the plaintiff.

It's Wacky Wednesday!
You know what that means?

(Whenever possible, the actual
family members and police officials
have participated in re-creating the events....)

Robert Stack in his trench coat
Presenting at his finest
Know a tip?  Call the hotline!
And which mystery is the creepiest?!

Wacky Wednesday!
And all the circus freaks
Come out, to commit their crimes today
Victimizing the meek
on Wednesday at 8 PM on NBC!

(KAZOO)

(What you are about to see is not a news broadcast.)

(KAZOO)

Perhaps someone
will be able to help
solve a mystery, justice done'

Perhaps that someone
is you!

(KAZOO)
----------------------------------------------------
As a kid I had a Wednesday night ritual. That ritual was watching Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack (RIP) at 8 PM on NBC. I'd be scared to sleep alone in the basement afterward but something about the show fascinated me, even as a young kid. Here is the poem I wrote as a sort of tribute to UM and Robert Stack.

NOTE: When I said 'Where the criminals present their deeds', I meant it metaphorically as in a 'circus-like' atmosphere. UM is really presenting it literally but I figure the criminals are actors too in the carnival.

ENJOY!
