They didn't understand her intentions
these were things she never mentioned
just one day decided things weren't right
so she tried to end her life
well like plans always seem to do
they didn't stay the way she wanted them to
caught straight in the middle of her act
they saw things she couldn't take back
she was waiting for the curtain to close
they still wanted her in the show
she cried and begged
she just wanted to die while they were trying to save her life.
A few hours later in a hospital bed
she contemplated more ways to end up dead
opened a window and saw the ledge
climbed out the window
and thought of her death
she breathed in deep
air filling her lungs
getting ready for something that has to be done
looking to the ground once more
she took the final leap to the floor
now there she lays
the shattered remains of a shattered girl
took her own life and left the world
her wishes are finally granted
she was just in so much misery
well the family is blown away by this tragedy
a few days later a funeral is held
there her mother stands in her black veil
tears drip down her familys' face
the girl is taken away from them
the curtains close and the crowd applauds
it was only a play after all
