Did close my eyes I; did turn I and
feign blindness

You could've fucked me and with
kindness killed, but like a mime
you chose silence and the rage
and bitterness kindled to violence

Never towards you though because
unto that end I'd never go; so with
relentless ferocity I tore myself
apart with malice

So, lay me down now in the sleep
of death; into the void of lost souls
go I; sadly though, not literal yet,
this death is metaphorical, but still
literal so that I'm buried in this shit,
suffocating and bereft of breath

Turn away now and into the shadows
swiftly go; no longer a sun shining
before me to cast that silhouette
of one who is; no, now I turn and it's
not there...

The shadow once cast, now has to
me come home so that we're one
and the same
