Can I Be Yours Already
I don't need glittering jewels
To wear around my neck
All I need to see
Is the sparkle in your eyes
Your soft skin brushing against mine
Is better than silken sheets
-- we'd mess them up anyway
Velvet lips to kiss away my worries
And ignite fires
In dark forests
Where wolves hid
And I was Little Red
The wolves turn cowering
Whimpering at licks of flames
And we stand
In the midst of it all
Laughing maniacally
Into the night sky
Butterflies
Whisper rumors of us
And send shock waves
Through my core
I'm alive
I don't want the world
I just want to be your girl
To wear around my neck
All I need to see
Is the sparkle in your eyes
Your soft skin brushing against mine
Is better than silken sheets
-- we'd mess them up anyway
Velvet lips to kiss away my worries
And ignite fires
In dark forests
Where wolves hid
And I was Little Red
The wolves turn cowering
Whimpering at licks of flames
And we stand
In the midst of it all
Laughing maniacally
Into the night sky
Butterflies
Whisper rumors of us
And send shock waves
Through my core
I'm alive
I don't want the world
I just want to be your girl
