The Other Woman in His Head

For years I was put down and scrutinized by the man that I love,
While in his head another women had made her bed.

He listened as she spoke, laughed at her every joke.
Smiled when she appeared
She got to close for comfort as if I wasn't there, though i was near.
She sat in his lap,as I was ignored,
She was praised,as I i was scorned.
In his head this woman made her bed.

When he was with me, oh it never failed,She'd call and she'd text,
Bloody thirsty, obsessed!
He couldn't keep from responding, he couldn't leave her alone,
She'd call with some stupid task, she just couldn't figure out on her own.
She was a home wrecker, and tried to make my house her home.
She was admired, as his love for me seemed to have expired.
In her head this other women made her bed.

I don't know what he saw in her, she was nothing less than fake,
She looked like a gremlin, frizzy hair stuck to the large rimmed glasses strung on her face.
From the day she moved in, she wouldn't give us space, always having to be there, as in his heart I felt I'd lost my place.
The other women had made her bed in my loves head.

She was spiteful and cunning,
When problems arose between us two, he'd call her and she'd always come running.
She played dumb to spend more time with a man that was supposed to be mine.
She changed her appearance to try to look more like me, though she tried you can't fix ugly.
Still and yet,she rested in his head and made her bed.

She is the reason i turned to another man.
She is the reason I let go of his hand.
For when she came near, I disappeared and even when she left he treated me poor, all because another woman had made her bed in his head.

She played on his emotions, she played on my down falls,
She played the concerned friend,
When in all actuality that bitch was nothing more than a thieving hen.
I took him back, she didn't like that
From his head she was thrown as i made my bed.
