Late Night Thoughts~
Creativity fondled my carnal edge
those moments when my imagination explodes.
Thumping pen to notebook
capturing midnight velvet whims
from a sensual trip my mind took.
(…quill to temple…..wet ink, think)
Seductive glow from afar flickers
phantom silhouette waltz across sheer curtains
temptation designs new arousal,
converting them in the shape of his lyrical prose
because I love it when he seize my mind
have my thoughts suspended in time,
with dripping possibilities.
I create the incarnation of life’s emotions
sapping imported ink onto intimate blemishes
encasing my universe inside,
my beautiful fantasizes on parchment justified
in my eyes.
(…quill drumming table….beat on repeat)
Eidetic image replenish the obvious
mesmerizing messages attached to
adoring reflections,
left behind words awakened
from the curves of my speech.
Living verses in unique mold
through shapeless fascinations,
passion praised by undercurrents
of my pen’s zen- replicating abandon transgressions,
...again…..

A very good descriptive poem of the creative process Rain. I keep a pencil (They don't run out on yer) and note pad by the bed often waking in the early hours with some new work or other half completed. Keep it flowing dear poet.

wave after wave of lust spills on the page until it becomes useless to write on....i will go find another[ picks up wet paper] the Ms. Rain.....is like raining musical notes ...so seductive & sexy....on a night like this...anything is possible

Hmmm, methinks thou received reverberations through the fabric of space and time as I was reading "Rain in Rhythmic Rhyme" at tonights open mic poetry reading. I told everyone before starting who the inspiration behind it was and how she writes the most stimulating erotic poems I have ever laid eyes on, and ears when you read them out on here...!

I could read you describing how to paint a wall and it would be beautiful. You always paint a vision so easily seen... blended with emotions. Beautiful colors..you work with.
