Positive Reinforcement

Concubine, mistress, girl next door
She doesn't give a damn how she's perceived
Pagoda, salon or parking lot
They're all home to her

But residing in his heart and mind
She's there to guide his hand
Rekindling his lost confidence
The joy of posting lines
Allowing her life in the process

She dances with a dozen veils
Evening or matinee
Then a lap dance at the midnight hour
His touch avidly encouraged
The bouncers held at bay

Then she'll take him home to write and fuck
Her Pavlov poet duly rewarded
Even for his most questionable lines.
