Concubine, mistress, girl next door
She doesn't give a damn how she's perceived
Pagoda, salon or parking lot
They're all home to her
But residing in his heart and mind
She's there to guide his hand
Rekindling his lost confidence
The joy of posting lines
Allowing her life in the process

Love the Pavlovian metaphor and Sin City inspiration! She could be no more than an imaginary poetic construct who exists to fill a need where a void has been residing for far too long...

Damn Crowfly, it always feels like walking around in a Jazz Club universe to read any of your work out loud. Blue to gray, all day everyday but what stands out past noir overtones is cool visceral texture. I try to glean some of the essence of that from alot of your work and it lends a smoky easy low timbre to my vocal tones whenever I been reading a bunch of your work. It's good headspace for the conversational avenues so thank you for contributing to that. Inadvertently or not.
Certainly we write for love and from lust. I say that alot but it usually sounds dirty when I say it. It sounds like clear life science when it's said as
