~Once

~Once, you could start me up with your bare hands. You'd sit on my lap & call me baby.

~Once, i would purr for you & make your thighs quiver. You'd stop me on a back road just to star gaze.

~Once, the open field was our playground where we'd get down & dirty. Breaking all the rules.

~Once, you took so much pride in me. Always showing me off & now i belong to the earth.
