Sacred Contracts XVII: Star Seed

I. Insemination: Genesis

Projected into a dusty
egg of galaxy spin-cycling
from her own ovaries,
we penetrated young earth
as sperm bending space,
apples bobbing in a cauldron
of weightlessness; seed
pods ejected through solar
Winds into felopian tunnels
of an Einstein-Rosen Bridge
navigating vacuums of black
hole'd emptiness. Our course
destined to waken the gestation
of Light within sentient beings,
including ourselves by each
to the other's becoming.

Deposited by meteor'd
debris to form as brinicles
birthed from sinking
sediment, we became
tubular salt in plumed
Waters of ice across
a seabed of webbed
frost: a gestating form
of existence destined
for millions of years
of natural selection.

II.  Germination: Humans

We were born unfurling,
gasping for Air, limbs flailing
into a heated solar flare
that seared our eyesight,
breath slapped or pinched
into our screaming lungs,
skin stinging pink, swollen
from the initial contact
of human touch, followed
by suckled sustenance
for those choosing soft
immediate bonds, while
others suffered inexplicable
indifference of distance,
hunger, and abuse.

Years threshed us with
various experience across
the floor of solecism;
charted rendezvous
of recognition activated
our innate instinct of
survival for the kindred
Truth of Love, kindness
and compassion through
humbleness of spirit.

III. Domestication: The Collective

Shadows provided familiar
respites for stray outcasts.
We became silent observers:
Life's dark cornered guests.
Our multidimensional layers
and decades of filtering
distorted facts enforced
by the mass of a sleeping
collective took its toll.
Some of us were assimilated
into great herds of sheep or wolves
while others burned against
wooden stakes felled
from ancient forests.
Some were dashed against
serrated rocks of bloody suicide,
their lifeless epidermis emptied
of the mortal contents of Life.
We, too, tasted the path
closest to our own home
as death by fleshy surrender
to our own devices, stayed
only by the interception
of a singular implanted
thought from a guide
bellowing our dying flame
into a combustion of hope
from beyond the veil of our
heavy misconceptions.

And so we became bruised,
battered, our scars glistening,
reflecting oil spills across
the salty regions of existence.

IV.  Activation: Remembrance

Portals of lighthouses projecting
grace appeared or were erected
in various forms upon the land
and waters we navigate.
Rising from glaciers
into carved stone of distant
countries,  by architect across
coastal beaches of the world,
or through blood bond of kind-
hearted actions by kindred;
Our hearts ever-pulled
into distant verification
of our being. Our Internal
compass activated our
base-plated needle of direction,
whose lost tribe crossed
from one onto another
southern tipped continent
before the great rift of ocean
engulfed the footbridge.
Migrating north, intermingling
our B (+) positive bloodlines
with foreign tribes of rock
and jungle, dotting the landscape
of genetics as crumbs leading
the chosen with eyes to see
homeward at last.

V.  Retraction: Continuum

“The mammoths knew, followed
The knowing as ants to sugared
Remains of granulated deaths
At the base of the stone obelisk.”
And so too we follow uncharted
footpaths by instinct, carved
by ancients, recognizing our faces
observing from their mountainous
encasement the final returning
of prodigal sons and daughters,
seeded remains of ripe fruition
surrendering to the final directive
of purpose before absorption
into the illumination of secrets:
The enlightenment of continuum.

“Sometimes the gods are galaxies
Of orchards bearing billions of stars;”
And sometimes they’re a close friend
Reaching down to pull us back up.
