You slip into my thoughts

Just to see how things are going
Wonder if you’re okay
If this is everything you wanted

When there’s no one there
A shiver runs down me

Of me in return
Every know and again
I miss you but I’d never
Trade my memories
No regrets because
For a few sweet minutes

I can feel your emotion...you articulate very well, the last two lines killed me..I'm going through it right now too, I am strong as I am sure you are, but to remember is to feel and usually its just pain.

I feel that sometimes remembering is worse. You tend to glorify things...erase the minor flaws...what you end up with is always more beautiful and that much more painful.
