Eyes of jade, hair of flame
On her way to the grave
Atop of this blacktop
That I have paved
Precipice, where we kissed
Will we defy the bliss
When we drive straight to the
Apocalypse?

She knew just where to find me
By the smell of decay
A storm on the horizon
The dawn of a new day

She crawled unto the abyss
‘Neath the aegis of love
Candles burn, the serpents hiss
Our baptism of blood

Hunter moon, coming doom
Fleeting wisp in the gloom
To brush the leaves away
Free from my tomb
Betrayal, portrayal
Of a ghost and the grail
Collect the blood of Judas
Daggers unveiled

She knew just where to find me
The company of wolves
A cry across the vistas
When we run with the bulls

She stepped up to the abyss
‘Neath the aegis of pain
Candles burn, the serpents hiss
As we sleep in our grave

She crawled up from the abyss
‘Neath the aegis of death
Candles burn and spectres kiss
From whence we hath crept

At the end of the road
She laid a scar with a kiss
Upon my troubled brow

She knew just where to find me
The violence of storms
Twisting in our devilment
The sounding of war horns

And we walked from the abyss
‘Neath the aegis of love...
