Sunrise
I sit above you as you begin to morph from darkness and powerful storms to a calming exotic surge of orange,
The clouds that once appeared as eerie silhouettes now transform into a cotton-like sunburst,
The earth suddenly becomes alive from its dormant state,
I gaze at you and you glare back at me with your life-giving gift,
You arise into the sky soaring way up high giving birth to a new day,
You transform from a firey orange to a mellow yet immense yellow,
You have awakened the life that sleeps silently below me,
The sky becomes a pale blue and the fleecy clouds start to wane,
You stabilise and I become uninterested as the day becomes acknowledged,
I look on smiling as to what I've just experienced as I complete my pilgrimage.
