Share My Madness

- Share My Madness -

When doth a dream become a fantasy made far more?
Say not that thou canst understand the full depths of this,
My madness, for my dreams, fantasies, and desires pure...
Wouldst leave thy mortal mind hungering for the fell hiss,
Of the serpent that alone canst bestow the truest wisdom.
I am that serpent, but tell me why I should reward thee!
Tell me why I should open the gates to my very kingdom,
And allow another to walk as a companion in my destiny.
Dost thou share my madness, doth thine eyes see as mine?
Only so anointed wouldst thou be able to walk unscathed,
Where my feet alone hath tread, where only I hath dined...
And where my form alone hath been known to thus bathe:
To cleanse itself in the waters of life, and those of death!
I hath tasted sweeter ambrosia, than thy lips could know,
And felt the warmth of sunlight, and moonlight's breath.
Taste of my lips, and these truths I wilt need ne'er show,
For thou shalt find that all I hath said is as I hath claimed.
When doth a dream become a waking nightmare to feel?
Only when the mind cannot focus past pleasure and pain,
To discover that only what lies beyond both is truly real!

Even if thou were to flay thyself until thou were bloody,
That pain wouldst not compare to that known in Hell...
And if thou were to know the rapture of love eternally,
It could ne'er equal the pleasures of Heaven that swell:
That bloom like springtime in the hearts of the blessed!
Share my madness, and let thy spirit become so rested.

I hath walked in many worlds, times, ages, and guises...
The chill of night upon thy spine, the shadow at thy back.
As surely as the caress of slumber's dreamy surprises...
The light of the moon and the darkness ebony and black.
I am the night, and I am she whose name lays unspoken,
Whilst being known to those versed in secret mysteries.
Show me thy faith, show me the sign, the secret token...
If thou wouldst serve me and know of myriad ecstasies!
Sing for me little songbird, and I shall whisper of things,
Fit only for the ears of divinities and their elect councils.
Walk with me little lamb and become nobler than kings,
Bound not to the mores and conventions of mortal wills.
I canst set thee free, I canst release thee from bondage!
But first thou must pledge to me in ways most befitting...
Of one who seeks to gain from the Divine this passage,
From the ordinary, to a realm bright and fairly glittering.
Walk through the fire as I hath, and embrace the void...
Wherein all things may be known, and every sensation.
Come kneel by my throne, and do not thine eyes hide,
But raise them unto mine, with pride and true jubilation!

Endure through all, suffer and enjoy until thou art wise,
And in the hour when I hold thee, thou shalt be happy!
The path I hath prepared is beyond what gods devise,
And once upon it, one may not ever again easily flee...
For to share my madness is to embrace of my passion.
Once embraced, thou wilt be changed, after a fashion!
