Prove Thyself

- Prove Thyself -

So many oft claim to understand me, saying pretty words,
And yet, what earthen solidity doth such prettiness possess?
I need so much more, than dreams both grand and absurd,
Far more in return, for all the things my lips hath confessed!
Was my honesty too much for those of weak spirit to bear?
Aye, and it proves that not all art worthy of all that I offer...
Not all art worthy of my capacity to love, cherish, and care.
Only upon true kindred, could I ever my entirety so confer,
And expect the relishing of it to be pleasurable for us both.
I will not pass from this world, until what I desire I so hold!
But many things pass, each day, passing like fading worth...
Leaving only the worthy to remain, to stand, defiantly bold.

The power of three is within me,
Three hearts to burn with needful flame.
My third eye allows me truth to see,
Both of mortal worthiness and base shame.
Prove thyself to me, and know bliss,
For what is Heaven if not my kiss!
And I can grand thee thy dreams.
Love flows from me like streams!

Let all who would hurt me or be false to my scarlet heart...
Crawl upon their bellies across the shards of their duplicity.
I hath been hurt, I hath wept, I hath bled feeling torn apart!
Let those who hurt me hurt, weep, and bleed as savagely,
As their bestial spirits that seek to wrong an innocent soul.
Every sin is numbered, and my memory is long and lasting,
And the price that karma so exacts, is beyond my control.
My will works in the shadows and the light, magic casting,
But there are powers older by far, which notice all doings!
Was I remiss in the sharing of the totality of my very self?
Nay, for I share all and hold naught back and by proving,
My worth, in such ways, I share in the angels' own wealth.

No riches of this world art so fair,
As the infernal majesty that is my bosom.
Know rest with me beyond compare,
And be safe with me from the coming storm.
Prove thyself to me, and know peace,
For I am dark as night, light as fleece!
And I can grant thee thy dreams.
Love flows from me like streams!

I speak not of worldly things, but of things more sublime...
Unbeknownst to the blind, the foolish, the arrogantly cold.
I am fire, I am flame, I am eternal, I am from before time!
Let the wickedness done unto me crumble as rotten mold.
I shall remain and my memory is long, mine eyes piercing!
A triple goddess in single flesh, three spirits bound as one.
So many promises art made unto me, and lies oft ringing...
Like hollow bells, with dull music within each bell's dome.
Sing me a truer song if thou wouldst share the love I gift...
Unto those who prove their righteousness in worthy way!
Or sink into the dark depths, ne'er to know passion's lift,
And love's joy, which shines in mine eyes like bright day!
