We exist as creatures of the night
To feed upon your innocent痴 plight
The shadows linger, beautifully
When the hunger was taken from me

I知 afraid of losing her in time
And I値l never wait for our paradise

Who doth stand at the edge of doom?
Is it a spectre at the feast?
Who doth stand idle in their doom?
Or is it so, my beauty beast?

Gleeful flames dance for the burning man
As we drink from the righteous and damned
The vespers linger, tragically
When that true love was taken from me

I知 afraid of losing her to graves
And I値l never wait in daylight today

Who doth stand at the edge of doom?
When poor Lazarus fails to rise?
Who doth stand idle in their doom?
Who spies the lies when ravens spy?

She left a scar upon my lips
Once sealed with a final kiss
The taste of blood and musty graves
She sung me a graveyard serenade

I知 afraid she値l burn inside the light
And I値l never wait for another night

Who doth stand at the edge of doom?
Is it a spectre at the feast?
Who doth stand idle in their doom?
Or is it so, my beauty beast?
