Your unlocked heart
When I have tamed destruction from your soul
You’ll enchant only me and won’t escape
My whims and aspirations to control
Your every expectation; and each scrape,
You’ve had with other men, will simply pale
Into a wraithlike dream of some lost past
That, I am assured, was bound to fail
Because, once disenchanted, you at last
Descended to the place you always meant
To fill, knowing this was the destination
Where you would be both leashed and, while content,
Free for insight and, yes, for inspiration
To fill your unlocked heart, as you caress
And find my prison home, slave enchantress
You’ll enchant only me and won’t escape
My whims and aspirations to control
Your every expectation; and each scrape,
You’ve had with other men, will simply pale
Into a wraithlike dream of some lost past
That, I am assured, was bound to fail
Because, once disenchanted, you at last
Descended to the place you always meant
To fill, knowing this was the destination
Where you would be both leashed and, while content,
Free for insight and, yes, for inspiration
To fill your unlocked heart, as you caress
And find my prison home, slave enchantress
