WITHIN THE SPIDER

A euphony of emptiness echoes behind a blackened stare
before the slaughtered silence slices through the screaming air
A catastrophic cacophony bellows below the balcony
A mass of mental mutiny within A euthanized epiphany
A prehistoric pathway purges, euphoric entropy emerges
harrowing A borrowed harlot's harmony
mingling with A mangled melody of memory
A systematic symphony of synchronizing empathy
Thought spins out like silken threads now tangled in A spider's web
A failing flow, A flailing ebb within my head
The siren sings while trickling down within her death-defying descent
as flickering fingers tickle the strings of her unifying instrument
The prey prays In praise at her glorious glistening gaze
now hypnotized by onyx eyes and tantalizing lullabies
The spider climbs upon her prey and sips his soul like apple cider
but I am not the spider, nay, I'm the insect now inside her
