Candle Burns For You
I light this candle for you tonight
flame slowly dances with a warm breeze
see your smile in the glowing moon
and yes....our purple star twinkling bright
on this very night I give to you
this soul completely to be yours
my mind looks deep into the flame
heart and soul feeling complete contentment
close my eyes for a brief moment to see you
look back into the candle and there you are
with a different smile adorning your face
eyes sparkling with passionate admiration
for a quick second the universe blinked
that's when I saw not you or me
but us joined together this very night
souls, hearts, minds, bodies are now one
old souls shed as wax drips
new spirits are joined in tranquility
tears of luv and joy now join dripping sweat
sexual tension building with in me
breathing deeply I feel you enter me
sweat dripping as my soul is cleansed with newness
although the candle flame burns out
flame you've ignited in my heart will burn for eternity

Hey Poet.....yes it was once posted on here.....the precious soul it was inspired by has been gone from here and my life for a while now.....he was my inspiration for many poems as another precious soul was.....they are in my archives.....some I still can't bring myself to read again or repost.....but perhaps thru time I can......thank you for your words. I brought this one back due to a comment on another write that made me think of this one......xo :)

Can't tell the beat of my heart from the rhythm of this piece. As I read along, blurred memories in my mind became so vivid.
