When Purple Ink Dies (Failed Love comp)
tears spill depressed ink
upon my bewildered page
broken soul tattering in a fearless wind
your inspiring words
drove my purple ink insane
ravaged my wild thoughts
laughter in my soul just a fainting noise
words that once comforted me
has now brought devastation
trashed yesterday's dreams
passion swept away in a second
heart weeping reading words
will words I feel inside just crumble to dust
from which I have been created from
in the beginning of life
now purple ink is silently dying
pouring out of my soul into an unmarked grave
where flowers and passion wilt
