Shrewd, Witty and Exact

She’s shrewd, I’m witty and we’re both exact
In what we think and write; the combination
Is rather brilliant – hear the recitation
Of fairy tales before the girl is smacked
And brought to book; indeed: her rear attacked
With belt or cane – she has an expectation
Of being punished hard – the fascination
One finds, in how coincidence is mapped
Means that she treads a path so that remarks,
Such as “oh sir” and other courtesies,
Ensure I’m careful that the many marks
I leave on her sweet form will show I seize
All the initiative, but she has sparks,
Being exact and shrewd in how she’ll please.
