STRANGER HEART

It's "what" I am to her-

Not "who" I am to her-

Infinite beauty hides a strange heart-

Words from lips,

and lips alone,

tattoo a mans eternity-

Oh to own the fingers that graze her skin-

To hold the moment of feeling her inside-

She watches from corners,

and sings with her silence-

An essence that tidal waves the crowd-

Who is worthy of such power?

I say a prayer,

and surrender to the blessing of her-

Me, a miniscule part of her brilliant being-

And her forever surrounding my world.
