last lonely blues

( ĎWhorehouse Bluesí Motorhead)

youth is a wild thing
& sometimes the wild heart
donít lay down with age

caught a train to the edge of trouble
woulda had a sedate life
if it werenít for whores & gutter blues

strap my sleepy soul to the back
of a harley, ride me where the music goes
when there is nothing left to say
& no one listens anyway

stars donít shine on a sinless stage
mouth fulla whiskey, hand fulla danger
& Iíll never forget the things I canít remember

wrote me a song
wrote me a song to sing
when love is gone
