Canvas

Colors softly splatter across a sun-beamed sky.
Brush strokes slow and smooth on linen canvas.
A prism of light lovingly lingers in the lens
No artist can capture its everlasting essence.

A world without wonder is a palette without color,
That is why one always pay respects to Mother.

Mother Earth, how dull you are in shades of gray!
In sorrow you slumber soundly, wrapped in silvery solitude.
Your beauty has left you barren
At the season’s end, but then

The view of the horizon gives one pause
Mother Nature has no flaws.
