So the debate lingers on...
There must be laws, even stricter gun laws! Laws rule our feral lands. But here, at least to me, things get shady. What good do laws do for the deviants and innocents who make our world go around! They aren't able to hide or be protected if they're as flat broke as me! All deviants and children have to do, (from the ghettos to penthouses) is look. Gutters, alleyways, closets and "safe" hiding spots, they are everywhere. They can even be purchased with a bag of weed or dope! Billions upon billions are being wasted by highfaultin politician's viewpoint that lead to no realistic new laws. My game plan is simple. It's been said we can't afford extra security in our schools, arm the teachers. We have soldiers, jobless and homeless living in the shadows among us and special task forces for damn near everything. Why not give these honored soldiers purpose again and assign a funded special taskforce. The price tag would be minimal. I say forget the costs, our children and victims Shouldnt've a price tag over their heads! We also waste hard earned taxpayers wages on prisoners,(killers, rapist and paedophiles) from lifers to death row, (not people who made a seriously stupid mistake, just stating clearly.) that alone would add massive amounts towards this fight! Arming teachers, stop and refocus a moment. They are protecting innocent students and fellow coworkers, who are already terrified, let alone seeing the very weapon that, at this point, means death. If it were my child, I could only hope that the teachers comfort with calmness and security that it'd be alright. Especially if it's my child's last breath. Not keep the horror ongoing. I'm just sayin!( The picture just shows how easy children can get one,😱💥🔫)

omg my great friend we posted extremely similar poems at the same time the concept at least breaking bread / when is going to far to far ^.^ wow great minds do think alike i loves you my dear survivor, great write from heart and mind , there were times if teachers had the power they could if saved me , but they didnt so the pain continued

god fucking damnit it just erased everything i was typing, ill have to sum this up because im about to throw this laptop threw the wall im tried of its disobedience , ok first we treat are soldiers like shit i have many friends who served to return only to get a job at a walmart as a manager thats fuckiing bullshit support are troops , having severe ptsd i suffer everyday im a wreck just look at me, second ido belive were wasting money on prisoners , wasteing money keeping innocent and low level offenders in there ridiculous amount of time for petty offenses, what does it say when a kid does 5 years on his first offense and he lives in a hood where every brother and his mother is packing and daily threats are made to his life then a rapest or child molestor can get out in a year in a half thast fucking bullshit to,its plain stupidity and ignorance to write off hundereds of thousands of people saying fuck em they made there choice , no not really not all the time and some are complete innocent , i myself did a little baby tour out of my 5 summer camp vists, 3 months for a crime i did not commit and i think we all know here i admit my shit when asked or even when not, 2 months i did in the hole 23 hours locked down 1 hours out to shower shave dress and make a phone call. because of that i lost my job my car my women my fucking son everything i loved to be fucking homeless and that's when i started drugs and snapped saying fine you wanna take everything i love ? for no reason ? my fucking son my one true love? , fine now im poppin shots at any mother fucker that wants to talk shit offensive or not, so fuck the police and the judges that point a finger at a soul and condem his fate and i will never forgive the system for what they took from me because you cant get that shit back, so please people unless you been there done that shut your fuckin noise trap please and thank you

Unfortunately, those that want to kill and maim and hurt others will find a way get their weapon of choice no matter what...nice write sweetie. Makes people think. I will say this though...no one is getting my guns from me. No one. <3

Precisely. If you intend harm, you bet your sweet ass harm will be done. Laws mean nothing to criminals. All we can hope to achieve is higher security & pray it works! Always a pleasure to hear from you mysteriously! ➰

Wow! there is such power and passion in this piece such an easy one to add to my list and yet another inspiring, thought provoking poem. One thing though - I would advise you not to edit it, there is always the danger that you will edit out its power. Trust me it is perfect as it stands and if it gets strong reactions then the poem has done its job _0(

It grates on my last nerve that all you hear is we need stricter laws. What good are laws to law breakers? Wow, an honor to be on your read list, it's like winning a trophy, the space is so limited.
