Motions of Monotony

.

Invite me to see things so new
Revealed only to a chosen few

Of what mysteries are unspoken
Rather left unsaid.

Leaving the rings of Saturn behind
That encircled my head
To go beyond our stars...
I don't know why some see such splendour and take such wonder.

Everything is dead.

So I don't even bother.

Spin me round until I'm so far off this ground
To which we are chained and bound.

Let me out of this prison of flesh
I'll be leaving with my last sigh of breath
I welcome the merciful release of death.

Free me from my mind-stuck in altared state
Chemically Tilted
Turned poisonous
Tired thoughts are a burden
Each day so predictable, every night unmemorable
It's run into one long stream
Reality-is just a dream
Never changing, never ending.

Existence is monotonous

Going through the motions - is tedious.

Everything is meaningless.
