The fundamental interconnectedness of all things

I have seen it clearly. Tis science and nature and what we call the mystical, which is simply what we do not yet understand, combined, intertwined.

We are all fundamentally interconnected. Every being, every creature, everything on this planet is part of this great web of life. In fact, we could call this universe a closed system. Let us begin with this planet alone, though, shall we not? This planet, Earth, is a closed system, a biosphere self-contained. All that is contained within it is a self-sustaining system. Without pollution and man-made dissolution, this system would continue indefinitely, mayhap close to infinitely, though mayhap entropy would change that, ultimately.

Within this system, all life, everything is comprised of DNA, the fundamental component of life. Recent gene mapping efforts show us how closely related to lettuce, for instance, we really are. A disturbance in the balance of the greater system surrounding us (and I mean in the context of the earth as a whole here) changes, shifts things for everyone, though we might not be able to ascertain that immediately or even incrementally. What I do, then, affects others. We are all fundamentally interconnected with one another.

This is deeper and more intricate than we have fathomed thus far. There is a shining web of fundamental life covering this entire planet – interconnected, interwoven, and that web is comprised of DNA, and that DNA is at its most essential the Deity in us, love in its purest sense.

Now, I know what this sounds like, and I know how difficult this is as far as empiricism is concerned for empiricism wants concrete evidence (or as concrete as possible) of matters. Let me posit here that at this point we simply do not know enough about the shining Web of light and life to interpret it all. There are gleaming mysteries that once resolved will baffle at how they could have ever been not known.

We have forgotten what once we knew.
