Here's a little ditty....      
     
We ran fast against summer winds of warmth and touch..      
Yet to realize time flew by with it.      
     
We played catch with stolen kiss.      
Felt deep fleeting touches of growing bodies and maturity..      
In pools of water that flowed against growing up..      
     
Time's sands trickled slowly for us. Underneath a glorious night sky lit by an eternity of stars,      
unbruised by ambient light.      
     
On fuzzy blankets in grassy fields      
he and I learned to Rock 'n Roll..      
Our soundtrack of heartbeat and breath louder than his old beat up      
Chevy truck's stereo could possibly play..      
Let alone catch up too with it's melody.

Happy now we didn't listen too hard to the lyrics.      
Enough to just "be" in our transister moment of youth and gratitude..      
To just sing the song out loud and not by memory.      
We merely allowed it's rhythmic verse seduction of our smiles and our bodies.      
While virgin stroke became experience in my thighs and in his eyes.    
     
Plenty of the rest of our lives to think about a tall dark stranger called Future.      
The two of us in the hot summer melt slow days swaying a rapturous, wonderful dance.
