Crying is to stop from Dying

why are you crying
why are you grieving
he hasn't died
he just moved on

a trail of rose petals
strewn on the path
towards her mama's grave
she wishes she is there too

tears, what are they
a trail on your cheeks
on to your lips
for something you never had

confessions and promises
are as logs floating in the river
carried by crystal water of life
a river bend lend new scenes

tears for an imagined hurt
never really knowing why
You feel its ending
the simple will to live

the rice cold on the bowl
on the table untouched
there is a typhoon out there
she wishes she is on its path

Are there other words
to 'Im sorry' or 'Loving you'
or versions of 'Be Safe'
maybe there are who knows

she is crying to stop from dying
grieving to stop from haunting
old frames old words caches
of memories...and hopes.
