Rock the Time
Spend your life just trying to make it work
All the time you spend, not worth the words
Deaf ears don’t hear a thing you say
You keep on talking to her anyway
Ain’t it time you gave up on this useless task
Just gave in and you walked away
Not worth the heartache as you
Watch her sin each day
Oh you just stay and keep on trying anyway
It’s been a long time since the
Shit hit the fan
Yet you ignore the pain
It’s made you half a man
Take the time to see that you are mad as hell
And all this time you’ve spent
Is useless trying to heal it
But you just stay as though you’re Sisyphus himself
You’re a fool to push this way
Push this way when the rock will roll away
I can’t see why
I just don’t understand at all
I can’t say that I believe in you
Anymore after this
After this
And now these years have passed away
What have you achieved?
What have you gained?
Spent all that time on a hopeless task
And now you’re old as hell and lost her anyway
And Sisyphus will push the rock
And you will talk and talk
And Sisyphus will watch the rock just roll away
But you’re too blind to see it anyway
Poor man are you, poor man are you
Poor man you’re old as hell
All the time you spend, not worth the words
Deaf ears don’t hear a thing you say
You keep on talking to her anyway
Ain’t it time you gave up on this useless task
Just gave in and you walked away
Not worth the heartache as you
Watch her sin each day
Oh you just stay and keep on trying anyway
It’s been a long time since the
Shit hit the fan
Yet you ignore the pain
It’s made you half a man
Take the time to see that you are mad as hell
And all this time you’ve spent
Is useless trying to heal it
But you just stay as though you’re Sisyphus himself
You’re a fool to push this way
Push this way when the rock will roll away
I can’t see why
I just don’t understand at all
I can’t say that I believe in you
Anymore after this

And Sisyphus will watch the rock just roll away
But you’re too blind to see it anyway
Poor man are you, poor man are you
Poor man you’re old as hell
