Enigma Intervenes

Resorting to Enigma Rose
A muse both armed and dangerous
Fully qualified to garrote the blues
Her sense of justice perverted and true
Enigma will not accept excuses
Sneers at this sloth
Ignores assertions of writer's block
And no tolerance for lack of discipline
She withholds her flavors and services
Knowing, full well,
The power of positive reinforcement
The reward waiting between her thighs
"Write on," she murmurs
"And I will be concubine, slut and queen
A composite of your fantasies
Chaotic as they are"
But this is so typical of her
Insisting, as always, on the last word
That being "redemption" on a Sunday afternoon.
